Principal's Message

As we near the end of the year, our school is buzzing with activity and excitement! 

From the final Prep Transition session to upcoming events like the Step Up Program and Colour Run, there’s so much to celebrate and look forward to. I’d also like to take a moment to express my gratitude for the warm welcome and support I’ve received since returning. It’s wonderful to be back, and I’m thrilled to share these final weeks of 2024 with such a supportive community.

Prep Transition Success!

Yesterday, we hosted the final Prep Transition session for 2024. It was wonderful to see our new Preps engaging enthusiastically with their future teachers and peers. Thank you to all families who attended and supported this important step in their child’s learning journey.

Step Up Program Begins Next Week

Our annual Step Up Program kicks off next Thursday, 28th November, running for three weeks. This program helps students become familiar with their new year levels and expectations for 2025. We look forward to seeing their growth as they embrace this opportunity.

VSGP Turf Award

We’re thrilled to announce that our school has received the Victorian Schools Garden Program Turf Award, this includes 300msq  of turf valued at $4,500! These funds will be used to further enhance our outdoor spaces for learning and play.

CCTV System Upgrade

We are excited to share that the school is receiving a fully funded CCTV system, including 15 new cameras covering the whole site. This upgrade will enhance the safety and security of our school community.

Sovereign Hill 1/2 Excursion

Today, our 1/2 students are stepping back in time with a visit to Sovereign Hill! This hands-on excursion provides a glimpse into life during the gold rush, tying into our curriculum and offering a day of fun and learning.

Grade 4 Camp Wilkin

Our Grade 4 students are having an amazing time at Camp Wilkin this week! From outdoor adventures to team-building activities, it’s been a fantastic opportunity for growth and bonding.

Colour Run on Monday

Get ready to run, laugh, and get colourful! Our Colour Run is happening this Monday, and we can’t wait to see the school come alive with energy and excitement. Please ensure your child comes dressed in clothes they don’t mind getting a little messy.
