FEES AND LEVIES 2026
I encourage all families to consider setting up or increasing their Direct Debit amount to ensure that Fees and Levies are paid on a regular basis and can be paid off by early-mid Term 4 each year.
Families experiencing financial hardship are always welcome to contact Claire (in Peter's absence) so that we can explore confidential financial support arrangements.
*Fee Statements and Direct Debit Forms will be sent home next week via the classroom tub.
CSEF (Camps Sports and Excursion Fund)
Every Victorian child should have access to the world of learning opportunities that exist beyond the classroom. The Camps Sports and Excursion Fund (CSEF) helps ensure that no student will miss out on the opportunity to join their classmates for important, education and fun activities.
CSEF will be provided by the Victorian Government to assist eligible families to cover the cost of school trips, camp and sporting activities.
If you hold a valid means–tested CONCESSION CARD or are a temporary foster parent, you may be eligible for CSEF. The allowance is paid to the school to use towards expenses relating to camps, excursions and sporting activities for the benefit of your child. The annual CSEF amount per student is $400.00 per primary school student.
We would encourage all parents who do have a concession card to apply for this benefit as, apart from receiving the CSEF payment, it also impacts on the school student funding.

Application forms are available from the school Office.
If you have applied, or would like to apply, please advise the school office. Applications must besubmitted to the school by 26 th June 2026.
2026 CONCESSIONAL SCHOOL FEE POLICY
The following families are eligible to apply for Concessional School Fees
- Any family holding a Health Care Card and eligible for Camps, Sports and Excursions (CSEF)
- Any family of Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander heritage
- Any family experiencing severe financial hardship
- Any family holding a DVA Gold Card
- Any family identified as refugees and holding an ImmiCard
Families who meet one of the above criteria are required to complete :--
- A Concessional Fee Application form,
- A direct debit request form,
- Provide a copy of their Government Concession card (if applicable) and
- A completed Camps, Sports and Excursions (CSEF) Application form (if applicable)
CONCESSIONAL SCHOOL FEE POLICY – 2026
1 child family $810.00 per annum
2 child family $1,240.00 per annum
3+ child family $1,620.00 per annum (Excluding any camp charges)

Seesaw - direct message to classroom teacher
All student absences require documenting. Unexplained Absentee Notfications will be sent out via an SMS mesage to your phone once the attendance roll has been completed. If your child/ren will be away for an extended period of time, please email their teacher, together with Mr Peter Wilson (principal@smfawkner.catholic.edu.au).
Late arrivals
A reminder to parents/carers/guardians, if you are bringing your child to school and arrive late, you are required to sign your child in through the iPad located on the counter in the school foyer. Please do not drop off your child and leave. This is a legal requirement and also ensures the safety and wellbeing of all students.
Change of Details
Any change to contact details, address, email or telephone numbers etc, please notify the office immediately, so our records are up to date.
FIRST AID
Updated Anaphylaxis, Allergy and Asthma Plans should be reviewed and provided to the school as soon as possible.
