From the Principal

As Term 3 ends, we reflect on what has been a shorter term but one filled with many highlights and special events, finishing on a high with our wonderful School Concert.

A Night to Remember – School Concert 2025

Last week our school community came together to celebrate the Parkdale Primary School Concert – A Night in the Museum. It was a wonderful evening highlighting both the talents and confidence of our students.

Each grade performed with enthusiasm, bringing the stage to life with singing, dancing, acting, and plenty of energy. From the youngest Foundation students to our confident Grade 6 leaders, every performance was met with smiles, applause, and pride from the audience.

A special mention must go to our Grade 6 students, who took on the roles of actors throughout the concert. Their confidence and stage presence were outstanding, and they carried the storyline beautifully from beginning to end. Our soloist led our finale song with a superb vocal performance, showing courage and talent.

Our teachers swapped their classrooms for the stage, showing off some impressive (and sometimes hilarious) dance moves. The students loved seeing their teachers having fun and joining in the spirit of the night. A big thank you to all the staff who participated, you helped make the evening extra memorable.

A special thank you goes to the dedicated concert committee (Mrs Richard, Mrs Mackenzie, Miss Ulrich, Mr Hubbard, Mrs Arnold & Mrs Richards) and the Parkdale Primary School staff. Hours of rehearsals, planning, logistics and teamwork made the evening the polished success that it was. Thank you also to our parent reps and families for supporting the children with costumes.

We are incredibly proud of all our students for their enthusiasm, courage and effort on stage.

It truly was a night to remember!
