As we reach the conclusion of a busy and productive term, I want to take a moment to recognise and celebrate the hard work and commitment shown by our students and staff.

Firstly, well done to all students in Years 7 - 11 for the dedication and effort you brought to the recent exam block. These assessments are an opportunity to demonstrate your learning, but they are also valuable chances to practise resilience, time management, and exam skills. Your perseverance and commitment have been clearly evident throughout this period.

A special congratulations must also go to our Year 12 students, who recently completed their trial examinations. These assessments play an important role in preparing for the final stage of your journey, providing both a measure of progress and clear feedback on areas to strengthen. I encourage you to use the upcoming holiday period wisely: take time to rest, restore, and recharge, while also maintaining momentum in your studies by focusing on the key areas identified in your feedback. Balance will be your best ally as you move toward the finish line.

None of this important learning would be possible without the expertise and care of our staff. My sincere thanks to all teachers and support staff for the dedication, energy, and guidance you provide each day to our students. I would also like to give a particular shout-out to our Learning Enhancement and Support Team – our case managers and Teacher Aides – who work so tirelessly and individually with students to ensure they are supported and equipped to succeed. Your impact is significant and deeply appreciated.

Together, as a community, we can be proud of what has been achieved this term. I look forward to seeing the continued growth, energy, and spirit that each student and staff member brings as we move into the final part of the year.

I wish all our families a safe, restful, and enjoyable holiday break, and I look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the term ahead.

Warm regards,

Simone Roche
