Library Day
We visit the library on Tuesdays to return and borrow new books.
Take Home Reading
Tuesday will continue to be the day where we change the students’ take home book for the week. Please remember to sign your child’s reading record to document their reading progress at home. We also ask that you keep the take home book in the students Library bag and not loose in their school bag as these are expensive resources that are shared among all students and we need to look after them.
Start Time Reminder
The classroom opens at 8:40am for students to unpack and put away their bags. We have noticed a decline in the number of students who are at school on time so this is just a friendly reminder to please try your hardest to be at school when the music starts. We understand that the morning rush can be tricky for some families but learning time starts promptly at 8:45am. If your child arrives after this time, we ask that they enter the classroom quietly and place their bag to the side and join the class, without unpacking. This is less disruptive to the class and allows them to begin their learning as soon as possible. They will be given time to unpack later.
