Newsletter Report – June Sporting News

State Cross Country

In our last newsletter we reported the achievements made by our students at the Greater Western Region Cross Country that was held in Warrnambool.  Camilla (10 Year Girls) and Sophie (12 Year Girls) both placed 12th in their respective events and we have since been notified that both girls have now qualified for the State Cross Country Championships. This event will be held at the Yarra Valley Race Course in the first week of term 3, on Thursday 16th July.  We wish both girls all the best and look forward to hearing how they go.

Upcoming Events – Term 3

• District Hockey 7’s at Pedrina Park – Friday 31st July
• AFL 9’s at Pedrina Park – Friday 21st August
• Year 4 Hooptime Basketball – Tuesday 1st September
• Year 6 Hooptime Basketball – Friday 4th September
• School Sport Victoria Netball – To be confirmed
