Winter Uniform Reminder - Stay Warm and Stay in Uniform

As the colder months approach, we remind families of the importance of students wearing the correct Bayside College uniform to school each day. A neat and appropriate uniform fosters a sense of pride, belonging, and readiness for learning.

To stay warm while maintaining uniform standards, students should ensure they have:

  • Bayside College jumpers and jackets – Hoodies and non-uniform outerwear are not permitted.
  • School trousers or skirts with tights – Track pants and leggings (unless for sport) are not part of the uniform.
  • Black school shoes – Runners are only allowed for PE lessons.

If you need to purchase additional uniform items, they are available from the official uniform supplier

Families needing support with uniform requirements are encouraged to contact your Campus Office or SWC.

Thank you for your support in keeping our students warm, comfortable, and representing Bayside College with pride!

Every Day Counts - Aim for 90%+ Attendance!

Regular attendance is key to student success, and at Bayside College, we encourage all students to aim for at least 90% attendance throughout the year. Attending school every day helps students stay on track with their learning, build strong friendships, and develop good habits for the future.

Did you know?

  • Missing just one day a fortnight adds up to four weeks of lost learning each year.
  • Falling below 90% attendance can make it harder to keep up with schoolwork and achieve the best possible results.

If your child is unwell, we understand they may need to stay home. However, for all other absences, we ask families to support their child in attending school every day. If your child is experiencing difficulties with attendance, please reach out to the school for support.

Let’s work together to keep attendance high and learning strong—because every day counts!
