RSC Long Course Meet Help Needed

Our RSC Long Course Meet is coming up on Sunday 13 September, and we’re asking our community for a little help to make the day a huge success!
This meet will be particularly important for the club, as it will be our last RSC meet at Aquanation before the upcoming pool closure. We would love to make this one of our biggest and most successful meets and raise as much as we can to support the club and our swimmers.
As part of our fundraising on the day, we will once again be running our popular Lucky Envelopes, and we are currently seeking donations of prizes.
We would love families to reach out to local businesses, workplaces, family contacts or businesses you regularly support to see if they may be willing to donate a small prize or voucher.
Some ideas for donations include:
- Candles or homewares
- Drink bottles
- Swimming or sporting products
- Restaurant, café or takeaway vouchers
- Chocolates, lollies or small hampers
- Movie, bowling or other activity vouchers
- Beauty or wellness products
- Gift cards or retail vouchers
- Small toys or prizes for children
Any other products or vouchers that would make a great Lucky Envelope prize!
No donation is too small! A collection of smaller items and vouchers helps us put together a fantastic range of prizes and makes the Lucky Envelopes fun for everyone.
If you own a business, work for a business that may be willing to contribute, or know someone who might be able to help, we would be incredibly grateful if you could reach out on behalf of the club. Please see below for a sample donation letter that you can use when contacting businesses.
Every dollar we raise through our meets goes back into supporting Ringwood Swimming Club and our swimmers.
If you are able to assist and secure a donation, please let Jackie know ASAP via email at secretary@ringwoodswimmingclub.org.au.
All donations will need to be brought to the RSC clubrooms by Friday 4 September so we have plenty of time to organise and prepare everything ahead of the meet.
Our RSC meets are always a huge team effort, and the support of our families and wider community is what makes them possible. Let’s make our final meet at Aquanation before the closure a big one!
Thank you, as always, for getting behind the club. We can’t wait for another fantastic RSC meet on Sunday 13 September (flyer and event will be live on Swim Central soon)
