Another year over....

It is true what they say... 'the older you get the faster the years go by!'

I am sure that everyone is entering that busy and chaotic buzz that seems to appear in the lead up to Christmas every year. 

Once again the year has been filled with laughter, challenges, learning, reflecting and strengthening connections and partnerships. 

It is always such pleasure to work with students along their journey of friendship, conflict resolution skills, meeting goals and working out how they can give themselves 

and others joy. 

Those who work in schools have a hard job navigating situations, emotions and the needs of so many people in one place who are at different stages of their lives and development, but it is also one of the most rewarding jobs ever! Those who work in schools get to see growth and development every single day. They get to support others as they do hard things, persevere, learn from mistakes and then cheer them loudly when they achieve new things. 

How lucky we are!

I feel privileged to have travelled the year alongside the students and families again this year. Thank you for all of the support you give St Anne's. 

I pray that you are able to enjoy some family time together these holidays. 

I wish you all a very holy, safe and Merry Christmas.
