Communications and Payments Update

Dear Members,

We would like to provide an update regarding the club’s payment system, communication, and competition expectations.

Payment System

By now, you should have received your welcome email from iClassPro. Thank you to those families who have already logged in and set up their preferred payment method.

However, we still have over 90 families who have not yet completed this process. The first instalment for Term 2 was due on Monday 20th April and covers the first two weeks of fees.

Outstanding payments place financial pressure on the club and impact our ability to meet operational costs, including staff wages.

We ask that all families please log in to iClassPro and:

  • Set up a payment method
  • Add a contact number and home address

This must be completed by Thursday 30th April.

Please note, the second instalment for Term 2 is due on Monday 4th May.

Any families who have not set up a payment method by this date will unfortunately not be permitted to attend training until this has been finalised.

The account name is Ringwood Swimming Club. Please log in using the email address you have registered with RSC.

Final payment (Term 1 Fees) via RevSport

All families have been issued an invoice for the remaining Term 1 fees to be paid by today (24th April)

Currently, 89 families still have this payment outstanding. For most, the invoice covers the final three weeks of Term 1.

We kindly ask that this invoice is paid as soon as possible.

Club Communication

We understand that over the past few months there has been an increase in email communication. This has been necessary to ensure all members are kept up to date with changes to squad fees, the lane space levy and squad restructure.

Once iClassPro is fully set up across all families, we expect communication to reduce.

As a reminder, email and the weekly update remain the club’s primary forms of communication to members. Please ensure you read the weekly update each week to stay updated.

From next week, all key information will be included in the weekly update, sent every Friday evening via email.

Emails during the week will be limited and will be sent in the case of:

  • Urgent updates (e.g. timetable/pool changes)
  • Competition reminders/competition information
  • Important squad-specific communication from coaches
  • Other important information what requires separate communication

Competition Expectations

All swimmers in the competitive stream (Foundation, Junior Pathway, Junior Squad, Junior Talent, State Age, National Target) are expected to follow the club calendar and compete in the events their coach advises.

Swimmers in Novice, Junior Development, and Senior Development squads are also expected to compete in the targeted meets set for their groups. Please ensure you speak with your coach about upcoming meets and which events to enter prior to closing dates.

The next meet for RSC is our Club Championship on Sunday 17th May. This event is for Ringwood swimmers only, with entry just $2 per event. Swimmers will earn points that contribute towards awards at our upcoming Presentation Night in July. Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place getters in the age groups 8/U, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17/O.

All swimmers in the development and competitive streams are expected to enter our Club Championships.

We welcome our Fitness and Masters swimmers to enter, as this meet is fun and more relaxed than an official competition.

Entries are now open on Swim Central, and the flyer can be viewed on the respective stream pages.

Thank you for your ongoing support. We are proud of our club and look forward to another successful Club Championships and season ahead.

Regards,

The Executive Committee
