Mr Hyatt

Thank you everyone for a great term!

As Term 3 draws to a close, I would like to take a moment to thank everyone in the St Patrick’s Primary community for their dedication, hard work, and positive spirit throughout this term. It has been a busy and rewarding few months, and together we have achieved so much, both in and out of the classroom.

Firstly, to our amazing students—you have truly been the heart of this term’s success. Your enthusiasm, determination, and willingness to embrace new challenges has been inspiring. Whether it was in academics, sports, or the arts, you have given your best and grown in so many ways. It has been a joy to watch you develop your skills, build new friendships, and work together as a team. Well done!

To our wonderful teachers and staff, I extend my deepest gratitude. Your tireless effort, creativity, and passion for education have created an environment where every student is encouraged to thrive. You have gone above and beyond to make learning engaging and meaningful, and I thank you for your unwavering dedication to our students’ growth and well-being.

To our parents and carers, your ongoing support and involvement in the life of our school is greatly appreciated. Whether it’s volunteering your time, helping with events, or simply being there for your children, your partnership makes all the difference. We are fortunate to have such a strong and supportive community, and I thank you for everything you do to contribute to the success of our school.

Term 3 has been filled with many highlights, including the grand opening and blessing of the new playground, installing air conditioners in each classroom, excelling at various sporting events, winning the Small Schools section of the Brain Olympia, excelling in NAPLAN and various ICAS Assessments and this is just the tip of the iceberg! I couldn’t be prouder of what we have accomplished together. It is moments like these that remind me how fortunate we are to be part of such a vibrant and caring school community.

As we now move into a well-deserved break, I encourage everyone to take this time to rest, recharge, and enjoy some quality time with family and friends. We look forward to welcoming everyone back refreshed and ready for the excitement and challenges that Term 4 will bring.

Thank you again for your ongoing commitment, energy, and enthusiasm throughout Term 3. I look forward to continuing this wonderful journey together in the final term of the year.

Wishing everyone a safe and restful break.

Official Opening and Blessing of the New Playground

What a fantastic day it was at St Patrick's Primary School as we celebrated the official opening and blessing of our brand-new playground equipment! The sun shone brightly, the air was filled with excitement, and the sense of community was stronger than ever as students, staff, and families gathered for this special occasion.

The ceremony was led by our amazing Year 6 students, especially Lilah who was the MC as all of them who did an outstanding job guiding us through the event. Their leadership and enthusiasm set the tone for a morning of celebration, and we couldn’t be prouder of how they took on this important role.

A very special thanks goes to Monsignor Wilkes for blessing the playground and reminding us of the importance of gratitude, care, and community. His words inspired us to see this playground as more than just a place for play but as a gift that will bring joy and foster friendships for years to come.

We would also like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Parents and Friends (P&F) president, Jess Williams, for speaking on behalf of our past and present P and F members whose tireless efforts and leadership were instrumental in making this project a reality. The P&F team’s dedication to improving our school environment is truly remarkable, and we thank everyone involved for their ongoing support and hard work.

Last of all, thank you to the staff who spent endless hours, blowing up balloons, attempting to prevent magpie attacks as well as making the opening ribbon bow. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Of course, the day wouldn’t have been complete without the presence of our wonderful school community. We want to thank everyone who took the time to join us—parents, carers, friends, and supporters. Your presence made the day even more special, and it was a joy to share this important milestone with all of you.
