NAPLAN Results

The 2026 NAPLAN Individual Student Reports have now arrived. Parents and carers of students in Grade 3 and Grade 5 are welcome to collect their child's report from their classroom teacher.

If you have any questions after reviewing your child's results, please don't hesitate to speak with your child's classroom teacher, who will be happy to discuss their progress and achievement.

Girls Football Team 

Our Girls Football Team once again did Echuca East Primary School proud on Wednesday with an outstanding performance.

The girls played brilliantly throughout the day, winning all of their matches to earn a well-deserved place in the grand final. They displayed excellent teamwork, determination and sportsmanship, representing our school with pride.

Despite a tremendous effort, St Mary's proved too strong in the grand final. Finishing runners-up is a fantastic achievement, and the girls should be incredibly proud of everything they accomplished.

Congratulations to the entire team on a wonderful day of football and for being such fantastic ambassadors for Echuca East Primary School!

Stop Work Action

I would like to take this opportunity to sincerely thank our families for their support, patience and understanding during yesterday's stop work action.

While we acknowledge the disruption and inconvenience this may have caused, it is important that the right agreement is reached to ensure the long-term strength of Victorian public education. Every decision throughout these negotiations should keep students at the centre.

This action is about advocating for better conditions and competitive salaries for teachers and education support staff, fairer funding for public schools, and ensuring every child has access to the high-quality education they deserve. Better conditions help attract and retain outstanding educators, while increased investment in our public schools provides the resources, programs and support our students need to thrive.  Ultimately, this is about securing the best possible outcomes for our students, both now and into the future.

Thank you again for your ongoing support and let’s hope an agreement is settled upon very soon!

National Pyjama Day  

Today is National Pyjama Day, and it has been wonderful to see so many of our students dressed in their favourite pyjamas to support this fantastic cause.

Thank you to everyone who made a donation. Friday we raised $252.00. 

All funds will go towards supporting children in foster care through the Pyjama Foundation, helping provide educational resources, learning opportunities and mentoring to children who need it most.

We are incredibly proud of the generosity and community spirit shown by our students and families. Thank you for helping make a positive difference in the lives of others.
