Naranga Concert and Awards Night is next week!

Dear students, families and carers,

The bright and sunny weather has been very welcome this week.  The spring sunshine always lifts everyone's spirits at this time of the year.  There is so much to look forward to in term 4.  The Annual Concert and Awards Night is less than a week away!  I've had a preview of some of the class items and they are looking fantastic.  It's always such a great night- make sure you get your tickets sorted before it's too late.  There is a link to the ticket purchasing site in this newsletter.

Assembly reminder

With the return of warmer and dryer weather, a reminder that we have our weekly Assembly on Wednesday mornings at 9am in the amphitheatre.  Families and friends are very welcome to attend to help us celebrate students who have done amazing work in the past week.

Helping our children be safe online

Teaching safe online behaviours should be a priority for every family and every school.  This year, Naranga entered into a partnership with the Cyber Safety Project with the goal of educating our school community about cyber safety.  Students have benefitted from a range of classroom teaching resources. There has also been a series of webinars aimed at parents and carers.  If you've missed any of the webinars, you can watch a recording at this link: https://cybersafetyproject.com.au/webinars/

Topics covered in the webinars have included safe use of social media, gaming, and digital wellbeing.  I encourage you to watch the webinars if you missed them the first time. Then, take time to discuss what you've learned with your children.
