Dear Families,
As we wrap up another wonderful term, I want to wish everyone a very relaxing and safe holiday break.
Thank you also for all the warm wishes I received following the passing of my brother, Gerald. I truly appreciate your thoughts and prayers during this time.
Community Thanks & Updates
- Movie Night: A huge thank you to Alanna for organising our Movie Night, and to all the families who attended this lovely community event.
- MACSSIS Survey: Thank you to the 55 families who completed the MACSIS survey. Your feedback provides us with a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our strengths and continue refining our programs.
- Parent-Teacher Meetings: Thank you to our dedicated teachers and parents for taking the time to discuss each child’s academic and social progress. These conversations provide a valuable opportunity for school and home to work in partnership to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
Footy Day: Thanks to the generosity of our wonderful community, we collected $101.45 and 165 balls for the Have a Ball Foundation.
Important Announcements & Reminders
2027 Class Placement Requests: Parents may email me directly if they wish to request that their child be placed separately from another student for 2027. Please note that requests for specific classroom teachers cannot be accommodated. All requests must be submitted by Friday 30 October.
Blessing of the Animals: Our annual parish Blessing of the Animals will take place on Saturday 3 October at 9:00 am on the school front lawn. All families and pets are warmly invited to attend.
School Uniform Guidelines
- Transition Period – Monday 5 October to Friday 30 October: Students may wear either the full summer uniform or full winter uniform.
- Full Summer Uniform – from Wednesday 4 November: All students must wear the full summer uniform.
- Hats: From Monday 5 October, school hats are mandatory during outdoor play.
School Review Update: Thursday 8 October marks the final day of our School Review. Our leadership team will meet with reviewer Craig Tanner to consider his recommendations and outline key strategic goals for the next four years.

- Working Bee: Saturday 24 October, 8:00 am–11:00 am. Any time you can spare to assist is greatly appreciated!
- Christmas Festival – Save the Date: Thursday 3 December – End-of-Year Celebration
- Move Up Day: Monday 14 December
- Last Day of Term 4: Tuesday 15 December – 1:00 pm dismissal
