Co-Curricular Photos - Tuesday 15 September

Co-curricular photos are taking place on Tuesday 15 September in Hodgkin Hall, with the photographs to be included in the Echoes yearbook. Students who are involved in a co-curricular photo have been sent an email from the Group Coordinator. Please ensure you have the correct uniform for each photo you are in;

Sports photos: Sports uniform (track pants or shorts, polo t-shirt)
Music or Formal photos (Council etc): Years 7 - 12 students need full formal uniform including tie, blazer, black school shoes, grey pants, shorts, skirt or formal dress.

Senior School Reports

Students in Years 9-12 will receive their Term 3 subject reports (TCE and IB Year 12) or Progress Checks (Years 9 and 10, and Year 11 IB) on 9 September. The email will include a link to the booking site for Learning Conferences.

Some teachers will request or require an interview and we strongly encourage parents to take this important opportunity to work with teachers to support the student’s learning.

Even when an interview is optional, this is a great chance to discuss progress, ambitions and how to set up your child for success.

TCE Exam Timetable 9-19 November 2026

Students have received an email and should be aware of the schedule for November TCE Exams. Please note that this timetable is managed by TASC, and the School has no input into when the exams take place. Students with clashes in their timetable will be contacted directly by TASC, and arrangements will be made for these students. The TCE exam timetable is available on the TASC Website.

In Term 4, all the information regarding the exam processes and what to do in the event of illness during the exam period will be shared with students.

Year 10 Meningococcal ACWY Vaccines - Friday 25 September

Year 10 Meningococcal ACWY vaccines will be offered at the Senior School Campus on Friday 25 September by the Hobart City Council.

How to Register/Give Consent: Please complete the online consent form using this link.

Year 10 Parents: Please complete the form even if you do not wish for your child to be vaccinated so records can be updated.

Years 11 and 12: Any students in Years 11 or 12 who missed their Year 10 vaccination are also eligible and may register using the same link.

For medical advice regarding the vaccination, please contact the Department of Health.

Absentees

If your child will be absent from school for the day please advise the Senior School Office (phone: 6210 2255, or email: seniorschooloffice@friends.tas.edu.au). We appreciate your support in this process.
