Winter Solstice

We are looking forward to celebrating our Winter Solstice event tomorrow, 19 June, from 5:00pm to 8:30pm.

The evening will begin with an Art Show in the JCB, which will be open for viewing from 5:00pm. At 5:30pm, we will officially commence the event with an Acknowledgement to Country, followed by a selection of musical performances.

We request that all guests respect the students and musicians, and are quiet throughout the announcements and performances.

At approximately 6:00pm, we will begin our journey to Middle Gully, led by Andrew and Bunjil.

Food will be available from 6:00pm at the front of the Eco Shed:

• Pumpkin soup with bread – $5
• Chicken and corn soup with bread – $5
• Sausage in bread – $3
• Onions – 50¢ extra
• S’mores – $4

To help minimise waiting times, a large number of sausages will be pre-cooked and ready to serve upon arrival.

Our Parents Committee will also be running a Bake Sale inside the Eco Shed and will have hot chocolate available for purchase.

If you would like to contribute baked goods, donations can be dropped off to the library at the below times:

• Thursday: 3:15pm–4:00pm
• Friday: 8:30am–9:15am

When you arrive at Middle Gully, there will be two separate food queues depending on your purchase.

Throughout the evening, you’re welcome to wander around and explore Middle Gully. The bonfire will be lit, and toilet facilities will be available for use.
