Missing Equipment

We recently have had a number of families contact us or post in the Private Facebook Group* about missing equipment.

Parent, we kindly ask that your remind your swimmers to please check that they have collected all of their own equipment at the end of each training session before leaving the pool. If you find you have picked up someone else's equipment, please can you let Kay know (admin@ringwoodswimmingclub.org.au) and return it to the clubroom.

We also ask that all equipment is clearly labelled with your swimmer’s name. The boom area can become very busy during sessions, with a lot of equipment being swapped in and out throughout sets, so it is understandable that items can occasionally get mixed up.

As a club, we encourage everyone to be respectful of other people’s property and to take responsibility for their own belongings. A quick check before leaving training can help avoid confusion and ensure equipment makes its way home with the correct swimmer.

Lost Property

Our lost property box is currently overflowing with various items (clothing, shoes, drink bottles). Next time you are at Aquanation, please come into the clubroom and check the box to see if there may be something there that belongs to you.

Storing of Valuables

The club was recently made aware of an incident at Aquanation which serves as a reminder that, were possible, not to leave your valuables unattended poolside or in the changerooms.

If you or your swimmer needs to leave bags unattended, please use the clubroom, where they should be safer than leaving them on a bench poolside.

We are waiting on a response from Maroondah Leisure for a possible solution for those who wish to use their lockers but no longer have a membership access band for that purpose.

Thank you for your support and cooperation.
