Dear Families,
St Francis Athletics Sports
Tomorrow, Friday 1 Aug, all Year 3 - 6 children will be attending the Athletic Sports at the athletic track in Retreat Road, Flora Hill. Children are encouraged to wear their house colours. All parents and grandparents are welcome to attend. The sports will commence at 9.30am and finish at approximately 2.30pm.
Learning Conversations
Next week, Week 3 (4–6 July), we will hold our Learning Conversations. (Some classes may have slightly different schedules) We encourage all families to make a booking with your child's teacher to discuss their progress. Those students who will have a PSG meeting in Wk's 6, 7 or 8 are not required to make a booking for the Learning Conversations.
Bookings will close tomorrow, Friday 1st August at 9am.
Fly for the Kids Fundraiser
Thank you to everyone for supporting last week's Fly for the Kids fundraiser. We loved seeing all the wonderful costumes and the children enjoying a fun day. We are thrilled with the total amount raised - $1348.05. Well done!!!

P & F Meeting - TONIGHT - Thursday 31 July @ 7.30pm
We warmly invite our Parents & Friends community to come together tonight, Thursday, 31 July at 7:30pm, in the Staff Room.
All parents are welcome—whether you're a regular attendee or joining us for the first time. We look forward to seeing familiar faces and welcoming new ones!
P&F Trivia Night
Tickets ($30ea) are still available for the Parents & Friends Trivia Night being held on Saturday 9th August at the South Bendigo Bowls Club. Get your friends together, come up with a dress up theme for your table and get ready for a truly fun night!
Ticket sales will end on Friday 8th August.
Roadworks Update
We are pleased that works are now completed at the entrance to our school. Thank you to all our school community for their patience as this work was being undertaken. We ask that everyone please avoid walking in the flagged off areas which have been flagged off so that grass can become established.
Upcoming Pupil Free Day - Reminder
Please be advised that St. Francis of the Fields, along with all Catholic Diocesan schools, will observe a Pupil Free Day dedicated to Staff Spirituality. As a result, our school will be closed on Wednesday, 13 August.
YMCA OSHC will again offer supervision of students on this day should families require it. Please contact the St Francis YMCA OSHC staff on 0459 988 313 or stfrancis@ymca.org.au to make your booking. Please note, the running of this service will be dependent on the number of bookings taken.
Shed Unavailability
The shed will be unavailable for training use on the following dates in Term 3:
- Tuesday 12 Aug - School Disco (Set up will occur from 12pm)
- Thursday 14 Aug - Whole school Mass setup (afterschool training affected)
- Thursday 4 Sept - Father's Day Mass setup (afterschool training affected)
