Here is a preview of some of the new titles which will be made available to students this year: 

 

What is the cost of fashion?  What does it take to produce the clothes and accessories that fill our shops and websites?  This novel looks at the conditions in a sweatshop where illegal garments are made by virtual slaves.

 

This story of child labour is set in Vietnam, and it follows a young girl who is tricked into working at a factory in Hanoi.  For reluctant or struggling readers, this book is dyslexia friendly. 

 

Stitched Up addresses important issues and presents them in a way designed to help students who find reading challenging. 

 

 

Mental Health and Me was first produced as an animated documentary series by the BBC.  The book is intended to help young people better understand their own mental health and find support by reading stories relating the experiences of others.  

 

The book has a series of advisory notes supplied by a mental health charity to help further understanding of this complex issue.

 

 

Written by Tik Tok celebrity Cynthia Murphy, Welcome to Camp Killer is a thriller about an American style camp held on the grounds of an English manor house. 

 

This young adult fiction novel is also dyslexia friendly, making it an approachable book for anyone looking for a story of murder and mayhem!

 

 

Co-written by Australian Actress and podcaster, Angourie Rice (Spider Man: No Way Home, Black Mirror), Stuck up and Stupid is a romantic comedy novel for high school students.  

 

A modern take on a period love story, this book imagines what might happen if a quiet coastal community was hit by a sudden influx of celebrities.
