Wear it Purple Day!

The Wellbeing team celebrated Wear It Purple Day at our school on Friday the 30th of August. Wear it Purple Day is a day that encourages us to show our solidarity with the LGBTIQA+ community. This years’ theme was ‘Your Passion, Your Pride”. 

This was a great opportunity for teachers and students alike to wear purple and demonstrate their commitment to fostering acceptance, respect and understanding, as well as creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for every student. Staff and students were encouraged to wear a ‘touch of purple’ for the day.

We also had optional lunch time activities which included making friendship bracelets, music, and purple cupcakes. Several staff and students came together to celebrate the day and make it a successful one!
