Intermediate Soccer Boys

The Intermediate Soccer boys competed in the State Championships and made it into the State Final playoff match. Unfortunately, they lost 0-2; however, they represented the College with great enthusiasm and showed respect for their opponents in all matches. Congratulations to the team for an amazing achievement to be awarded Runners-up in the State Championships.

NMR Secondary Athletics

We had a number of students compete on Wednesday 30 August. They represented the College well and came home with lots of medals. We had 6 students make it through to State Finals on Monday 16 October:

Kaylin, Tarik, Will and Ceejay for 400m relay

Chehan for Discus

Adam for Discus

Congratulations to all who competed and good luck to those that made it through.

NMR Year 8 Girls Soccer

The girls drew two games, won one, however, didn’t make It through to the final playoff game. They conceded zero goals on the day, which was a great defensive effort.

NMR Year 7 Girls Soccer

The girls won two of their three games and lost the last game which meant they unfortunately didn’t go through to the final playoff game. A special mention goes out to Nikka, who scored 5 goals on the day.

NMR Netball

Aitken had three NMR teams represent the College this term: Intermediate, Year 8 & Year 7. Unfortunately, none of these teams made made it through to the State Tournament, but, Mrs Wachter and Mrs Neilson are extremely proud and impressed with the effort of all three teams.

SSV Year 8 Girls Basketball

The girls won all of their games by an average of 25 points, with fantastic attacking and defensive effort all round. The next NMR round will be held on Thursday 19 October.
