Brookhill Students
Many of the tertiary institutions are running tours of their campuses during the Term 3 holidays. Some institutions are offering workshops on campus for students to learn more about what they have to offer. This is a great opportunity for students who missed Open Days, or who would like to have a second look at an institution, to go onto campus, tour and/or attend a workshop and ask questions. Choosing an institution is a big decision and you want to be sure you can see yourself studying there for three, four or even more years and also that you can travel there and back comfortably for up to 4 days a week during semester. See the newsletter for institutions that are running these events. It is also worth noting that you can ‘walk onto’ a University campus at any time, you do not need to sign in, and so if the tour/workshop times do not work for you, you can have a look around at a time that suits you. Brookhill students were emailed Career Newsletter Number 11 last week in case they did want to sign up for any of these events.
