The community members of Launching Place Primary School acknowledge the traditional owners, the Kulin nations, of the land on which we learn and play.

We pay respects to the Aboriginal Elders, past and present, who are our teachers.

We thank them for taking care of children and country for countless generations.

CSEF

The closing date for Camps Sports and Excursions Fund (CSEF) applications is 4th July 2025.

If you have a healthcare card or pension card you may be eligible to apply.

Lost & Found Uniform

We have a significant number of uniforms that are not labelled. Each week, we review the lost uniforms and verify the names. Items with identifiable names are returned to their respective students. However, unnamed items are stored in the cupboard and are allocated to students in need or put on the second hand rack to be sold.

Please ensure that all clothing items are properly labelled.

Breakfast Club

Please send your child along to Breakfast club on Wednesdays and Thursdays if you would like your child to have a yummy breakfast made by our lovely parent Esme. Come a bit earlier and enjoy the time to eat and chat with friends. If you would like to join in everyone is welcome Esme opens the doors at the canteen at 8.10am -8.40am. Thank you Esme for all you do for our students.

Curriculum Day Reminder 

A reminder that this Friday is a Curriculum Day . With the King’s Birthday public holiday the following Monday, this means a four-day break from school for students. Staff will be onsite for a professional learning day focused on assessment and reporting, in preparation for Semester One academic reports and parent/carer–teacher conferences, which will take place in the final week of term on Tuesday 24th July.
