Amplify Come Together
‘The Routine’ performed as the feature band at Sunday August 9ths ‘Come Together' festival at Queenscliff, and BHS VET Year 1 student Charlie Callil’s band ‘Brothers’ won a coveted performance slot at the Queenscliff Music Festival in November.
Well done to all these BHS VET Music students for representing us so well!

VSMF
Last week all our Concert Bands performed at the Victorian Schools Music Festival at the R W Gibson Centre at Christian College Senior School.
Beginning Band received some excellent feedback, achieving outstanding results across many categories, and comments from the adjudicators about the maturity of sound coming from such a junior ensemble.
Intermediate Band received a Silver Award, with again very positive comments about their sense of ensemble, balance and tuning.
With such great foundations built in the junior and intermediate level bands, Senior Band rode this wave and was awarded a Platinum Award, the highest award a Belmont Band has ever received!
Massive thanks to Emma Moffatt and Amanda Linton for their work in lifting the standard of our groups and creating the opportunity for our students to strive for, and achieve, the highest!
