Principal's Update

Hello everyone,

We’re really sad to be saying goodbye to Scott today. He’s done an incredible job with his class and built strong relationships with the students — they will genuinely miss him. We’re very grateful for the work he’s done here and the care he’s shown every day. We wish him all the best for what’s next. Kristie starts on Monday, and we're really excited to be welcoming her back. Scott and Kristie spent some time together earlier this week for handover, which has been great to help with a smooth transition for the class.

We’ve got our open morning coming up on Tuesday 20 May (9:00–11:00am). Families are welcome to drop in, have a look through classrooms, and say hello. If you know of any families who might be interested, please feel free to let them know about it.

We also hosted the Principal Network meeting here on Thursday. Harper and Frankie shared the Acknowledgement of Country to open the meeting. They spoke clearly and confidently in front of the group and did a great job representing the school. Well done to both of them.

With lots of sport coming up over the next few terms, we’re getting organised with some custom sports uniforms. Keep an eye on Compass for ordering details in the coming weeks. We’ve also ordered more Taradale beanies — we’ll let you know when they’re back in.
