Lost Property

As of Monday 11th May, the pictured items were in lost property with no name, along with a collection of school jackets also with no name.

Our Lost Property is managed by parent / carer volunteers, with the assistance of students. When you go searching in the room, we ask that you please leave it in a reasonably tidy state.

The Lost Property Room is located outside the staff room, and is unlocked from ~8am to 4:30pm on school days.

Items within the Lost Property Room are sorted alphabetically into tubs by name - either the first or last name, depending on which is more legible.

School items with no name, or if the name is not legible, are in separate tubs.

Students and parents / carers are asked to collect their belongings from this room. The school does not need to be informed if / when your item has been collected.

Lost property is periodically cleared out with unnamed and uncollected items donated to the Derinya second hand uniform shop or MSFIN.

To assist with having your lost items returned to you:

• Please ensure that all of your child’s belongings are clearly labelled.
• Please remind your child to collect their belongings before they return to the classroom.

• Please teach your child to tie their jumper around their waist.

   

If your child has lost their jumper, rather than buying a new one, please consider supporting the school and choosing the more sustainable option of purchasing a replacement from the Derinya second hand uniform shop.
