Prime Ministers’ Spelling Bee

On Thursday 17 August, 18 students from St Brigid’s will have the exciting opportunity to participate in the Prime Minister’s Spelling Bee.

The online competition will take place at school and will challenge students to spell 30 words, with a time limit of 25 seconds for each word. It will provide our students with an opportunity to showcase their spelling skills, build confidence and challenge themselves in a fun and engaging competition.

We are incredibly proud of all 18 students for taking on this challenge and wish them the very best of luck in their participation. We hope they enjoy the experience and the opportunity to represent St Brigid’s.

We look forward to hearing about their experiences and celebrating their achievements later in the term. Good luck to all of our spelling stars!

Premiers’ Reading Challenge 

Just a reminder there is still time to complete the Premiers Reading Challenge 2026! The challenge finishes Friday, September 4th. So far we have had 12 students finish the challenge with 429 books read overall!  Let's keep up the great reading! Can we reach 500 books overall in the next few weeks?

Celebration of Learning

Our Term 3 Celebration of Learning will take place on Thursday 10 September at 8:45am.

This special morning will provide families with an opportunity to visit the school and celebrate the wonderful learning and achievements of our students. It will be a chance for you to see the amazing work your child has been completing throughout the term, as well as explore and appreciate the learning taking place across our school.

We encourage all families to mark this important date in their diaries and join us for what promises to be a wonderful celebration of our students’ learning and achievements.
