Gospel reading
Matthew 18:15–20
Jesus said to his disciples:
“If your brother or sister sins against you, go and point out their fault, just between the two of you. If they listen to you, you have won them over.
But if they will not listen, take one or two others along, so that every matter may be supported by the testimony of two or three witnesses.
If they still refuse to listen, tell it to the Church.
Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.”

Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.
Summary
In this Gospel, Jesus teaches us how to respond when someone hurts us or does something wrong. Instead of talking about the person behind their back or becoming angry, Jesus asks us to speak with them honestly and respectfully.
Jesus reminds us that relationships are important. When there is conflict, we should work towards forgiveness, peace and reconciliation. Sometimes we may also need the support of others to help repair a relationship.
At the end of the Gospel, Jesus gives us a beautiful promise: “Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them.” This reminds us that Jesus is present whenever we come together in faith, prayer and love.

1. When I have a disagreement with someone, how can I respond with honesty, kindness and forgiveness?
2. How can I help bring peace and reconciliation to my family, workplace or community?
Prayer
Loving Jesus ,
Help us to be people of peace and forgiveness.
Give us the courage to speak with kindness when relationships are difficult.
Help us to listen to one another and seek reconciliation.
May we always remember that when we gather in Jesus’ name, He is there among us.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.

Reconciliation
The sacrament of Reconciliation is a special time when we talk to a priest about anything that we have done wrong, say we are sorry, and ask for God's forgiveness. It's like getting a fresh start, knowing God always loves us and helps us to do better.
St Kilian's Parish is offering the sacrament of Reconciliation for students who are in Grade 2 or above who completed the sacrament of Baptism. This program will start in Term 4, October.

Seasons of Creations Mass
Mr Wilkinson, Madi and 6 of our Grade 6 FIRE Carriers attended the Season of Creation Mass at the Huntly Streamside Reserve. The celebrant was Bishop Rene Ramirez RCJ. Students were lucky enough to meet Bishop Rene at the conclusion of Mass.
