Happy Week 10!
Pancakes with our Priest
Our Breakfast Club served up something extra special this week with our very first Pancakes with our Priest! The morning was filled with great food, big smiles, and fantastic conversation as Father Kingsley & Miss Bernie joined our students to chat, share a few laughs, and enjoy the morning together.
A massive thank you to Mrs Sheridan for her wonderful organisation and for making sure everyone was well-fed and ready for a great day of learning.
We are already looking forward to our next one!
Whole School Mass & Reconciliation
On Friday, 18th September, our entire school community came together to attend Mass. After the excitement and energy of our big Peter Pan: The Neverland Remix performance the night before, it was a truly lovely opportunity to slow down and share some quiet reflection time as a whole school.
Following Mass, eligible students were offered the chance to participate in the Sacrament of Confession. We hope to make these regular opportunities for spiritual growth a routine occurrence for our students moving forward.
If you would like more information about our school sacramental opportunities, please contact Sharnie at smeade@arm.catholic.edu.au.
Socktober - Coming Event
This term, our school is excited to be participating in Socktober, an initiative supporting Catholic Mission.
This year, Socktober is raising funds to support vulnerable families in Malawi, where devastating floods destroyed homes, farmlands, and vital infrastructure. The nationwide goal is to raise enough funds to build a local school that will provide displaced children with consistent access to education and nutritious meals each day.
To show our support and raise vital funds, our school will be participating in two fun upcoming events:
Both event days, we ask for a small donation to go towards the important work that Catholic Mission supports. Donation can be via Compass or in cash on the day. Compass payment will go live in Term 4.
Please note, cupcakes will be sold for a separate gold coin cost - cash only, on the day, for students wishing to participate.
