Hi parents, guardians, staff, and friends! Welcome to Week 5 of Term 1!  

Can you believe we’re already in Week 5 for this Term - time is passing by so quickly! This week’s theme is “Into the Desert”. The children did a lot of arts and crafts activities. On Monday we did the cactus which we can see in the desert – it was a cute art and craft activity. We also did the lizards – it was cool and colourful and the children loved it. We also made bracelets using loom beads which the children really enjoyed – they made cute and lovely bracelets for their friends and parents. Also, in the mornings the children enjoy playing badminton and shooting basketball in the TheirCare room. And due to the weather changes, some days we couldn’t play outside.

This week Ashleigh and Angie are finalising the medical audit. If your child / children have medical conditions, please keep an eye on the white envelopes that will be sent home and please sign them and kindly return them to TheirCare. Also, if you can please send us the updated Action Plan and medicines for your child. That would be great. Thank you for your support!

This week’s Pupil of the Week is Caleb Matthews (5LW) for being a great helper during packing up and setting up of the TheirCare room and for being respectful towards staff and other children. Well done, Caleb! 😊😊

Unfortunately, it is Jicinta’s last week at FWPS. She will be starting next week at a new service closer to home. We will miss her, and we wish her the very best in the new service.
