Parents Association Update

We held our first committee meeting for 2024 this week. It was great to welcome new and familiar faces. 

Thanks to those parents who came along - we got to discuss term 1 and term 2 activities in detail.

Interested in Volunteering?

We have some opportunities for parents to volunteer at upcoming events - including the book fair, the sausage sizzle and Mother’s Day / Special person stall.  

You need to complete the school’s Volunteer Induction course and get a WWCC before you're able to assist onsite. You can find this course on compass if you filter on most important posts, it is pinned.

Secondhand Uniform Stall

We have our first second hand uniform stall on 5th March from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, then a second one on 7th March from 3:10pm to 3:40pm. 

Thank you to everyone who has donated already this term, it's been a great help replenishing our racks. 

We'd love some assistance with the shop for this first after school opening. If you can help, please email us at FWPSParentsAssociation@outlook.com. It would be great to have some new faces involved. Helping is simple - setting up, taking payment, tidying and packing up. You can help for the full 30 minutes, or just at set-up / pack-up.

If you can assist with running the stall on either or both days please let us know. No experience necessary!

Mother’s Day and Special Persons Stall

Planning is underway for our stall that will run the Friday before Mother’s Day. For those new to the school, this is a much loved FWPS event where all children are able to purchase a gift up to the value of $5.

If you are a local maker, or baker, or have donations for our stall we’d love to hear from you. We also accept second hand cook book and books. 

Donations can be made to the office in the last week of term.
