Book Week is coming.....!!!!

Save the date everyone....our Whole School Book Character Dress up Parade will be held in the Gym at 9.15am on Monday 19 August to launch this years LPPS Book Week celebrations.

We will have many more details to follow in the coming weeks!!! stay tuned.

A paper catalogue has been sent home. Orders will be delivered to school and distributed to classrooms. There is a GIFT function which you may select if you prefer orders to be sent to the Front Office for secret collection!

Premiers' Reading Challenge 2024

Before the holidays we announced that LPPS had read 6,621 books. There has been a lot of holiday reading which is incredible...so now our tally has rocketed up to......10,010. I am so proud of this wonderful achievement!

Student login and password details are available from your classroom teacher.  The highest reading class will receive a $50 scholastic voucher to purchase classroom books. The top 10 students across the school will be recognised at Assembly with a special badge.  All the details are located on our school website here.

The PRC continues throughout this Term and ends on Friday 30 September so keep reading and logging your books everybody!

Library Borrowing

Here is your child/ren's borrow day so that you might help remind them to pop their library book in their school bag the night before.

Borrowing Days

Monday : Foundation, Year 2 and 1/14

Wednesday: Year 1/12, 1/13, 1/15, 1/16, Year 6 and Year 3

Friday: Year 4 and Year 5

library.langwarrinparkps.vic.edu.au is our Library search website listing every single book on our shelves along with Clickview videos.  Instructions on how to log your child into this page are located on the home page, however families can browse without a login too.  In this space you can view your child/ren's current loans, loan history, write book reviews, reserve books, and create a reading list.  In the Quicklists tab is a Premiers' Reading Challenge tab which lists all the Challenge books in our library.
