ALLERGY AWARE

A friendly reminder that St Francis Xavier's School is an allergy aware school.

This means that we aim to create a safe environment for our students with allergies and request that our families are mindful of the foods being packed in their child's lunchbox.

Your assistance is greatly appreciated.

SPORT UNIFORM - WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS

As mentioned in Mr Frend's report, Platform & Co will again be working with our classes on Wednesdays this term.  Therefore, students are required to wear their Sport Uniform on Wednesdays and Fridays this term.

PENCIL CASES

As we enter a new school term we ask that parents/guardians please ensure their child has everything required in their pencil case.

Students in Year 1 to 6 are asked to provide ONE pencil case ONLY containing the following:

Years 1 and 2 - lead pencils, coloured pencils, highlighters, glue stick, eraser and sharpener.

Years 3 to 6 - lead pencils, coloured pencils, highlighters, ruler, glue stick, eraser and sharpener.  Students should also have a mouse and a set of head phones.

BOOK COVERING VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Our School Library is excited to receive new books every month from Lamont Books' Standing Orders Package courtesy of the Catholic School's Office.

Mrs Capp is looking for volunteers to cover the books in order to provide lasting protection. The hardcover books are covered in plastic and our soft covered books are covered in contact.

If you are able to assist, please contact the School Office on 6792 1796. We appreciate any available time you have to offer!

All covering materials are provided.

AFTER SCHOOL ARRANGEMENTS

Before your child/ren arrive at school, we ask that you please communicate with them their after school arrangements and how they are getting home in the afternoon. While we understand arrangements can change it is important that your child/ren is aware of their home time instructions.

Thank you for your assistance.

PARKING REMINDER

Parents are reminded that when dropping off and/or picking up your child/ren, you are to use street parking only. Please do not park on private property or in the staff car park.

The residents surrounding the school grounds would appreciate if you did not park on their lawns or in their driveways.

Please ensure that any family or friends picking up are aware of the parking options.
