Clean Up Australia Day

On Monday 2 March, students in K/6C, K/6B, and K/6R participated in Clean Up Australia Day. Clean Up Australia Day is an annual nationwide event that encourages Australians to help protect and care for their local environment by collecting rubbish in a bid to provide a more sustainable future. 

Students leant about the history and importance of the day before actively collecting rubbish in the school grounds and in the TAFE green. Students were surprised by the amount of rubbish they discovered and commented on how important it is to put your rubbish in the bin. A great job by all students in ensuring they keep Australia and our community beautiful.
