A big thank you to all our staff for their sensational work  and dedication to our school this semester. It is amazing what wonderful learning opportunities our children have had and the great learning outcomes that have been achieved as a result of their commitment to supporting our children.

We also congratulate our students for their great focus this term, embracing our school expected behaviours and for the growth and learning that has resulted.

We are very proud of our school community and the support received by our parish, Fr Fabian, Parents and Friends Association and the School Advisory Council. The strong partnership continues to support our school flourish and thrive as positive community and excel as a place of learning and spiritual growth. Thank you all for playing a vital part in what has been a successful semester. I wish you all a very happy and restful mid year break.

To conclude a FUN annual Soccer Day at the end of Term 2, we gathered to watch Australia's Socceroos take on Paraguay in the World Cup. We had a great day with our own soccer matches between the Grade 5 and 6 students as well as the Grade 3 and 4 Students. Our Juniors also had an exciting morning doing soccer activities run by Year 6 helpers and staff. It was great to see the students in their soccer colours and there was plenty of green and gold.

A BIG thanks to our P&F for organising a FUN lunch, it was delicious and so well organised. Thanks to the many parent helpers who did such a great job serving all our children without any deyalys. It was a great conclusion to Semester 1.

After our pizzas and play we had the traditional Year 6 vs staff soccer match. It was played with great spirit and was a fun way to finish the semester.

50 Years of Deadly

For five decades, NAIDOC Week has celebrated the voices of our communities — steady, unapologetic, and proud. Each year, its themes have called for truth, celebrated culture, honoured resistance, and reminded the nation of who we are.

Fifty Years of Deadly marks a milestone. It’s a tribute to the people who built this movement.

At St Francis de Sales we will celebrating NAIDOC Week on Monday 20 July at a whole school Morning Gathering led by our Fire Carriers. We invite you to join us in the hall at 8:45am.
