Dear Families,

This week has been a fabulous start to the term. Our students came back refreshed, and it was as if many of them had grown overnight. 

Curriculum and Voluntary Contributions

Each year we request voluntary contributions to the school. These contributions help us resource the school. If you haven’t yet paid your financial contribution this year, it is not too late! Please go to your Sentral portal to make the payment; otherwise, you can pay in person at the office via EFTPOS. This year, Curriculum Contributions are set at $50.00 per child and Other Contributions are set at $40.00 per child. We thank you for your continued support of our school.  If you have any questions, please see Olivia or Wendy at the office. 

Uniform Reminder

Thank you to all the families who supported us with our Uniform Reminders. It was great to see all our students at assembly this morning proudly wearing our uniform. We have had a few questions from students about jewellery and hair up, and we have explained that this is for safety reasons. If you have any questions, please contact your child's classroom teacher. 

Supervision Before and After School

A reminder about our supervision arrangements before and after school. 

Staff supervise the yard from 8.30 am to 9.00 am, and from 3.30 pm to 3.45 pm. Outside these times, if your child is at school, they must remain in the office foyer. We supervise only the front playground, so parents are expected to supervise students in other areas. Classrooms open at 8:45 for students to enter. 

If, on occasion, you are running late, please let the office know. 

St Patrick’s Primary School runs an After School Care program each day. Please contact Extend if you need after-school care. 

Swimming

Next week is the beginning of our Swimming program. Please ensure you have completed the swimming survey to ensure that students are placed in the best possible group for the program.
