Year 5 EMC visit.

Our Y5 Visit to EMC - reviewed by Chloe C 5B

It is obvious that Elisabeth Murdoch College is a magnificent school. It has many activities that you can participate in like Science, P.E., Art and SAP. If I had to choose a high school, I would definitely choose EMC.

We started off with a warm welcome where Mrs Fay led us to the stadium. We met all the lovely teachers. We sat in the stadium and organized all the groups.

Our group started off with science. In Science we were making rockets. We had to wear protective glasses and a science lab coat; the coat looked like a dress on me! First, we had to put 2mm of water in our test tubes then we had to put a pill in to make it explode. We put a stopper to block the end of the test tube. There was a timer to record how long it would take for it to pop up. Ours took around 45secs. We continued that for another 2 times.

After that we had a snack break, and we were off to P.E. In my opinion P.E. was my favourite activity. We did lots of games including ball games. First, we played Keepy-uppy but with a little twist. We had to get the ball to the other team's side. Then we played heaps of other games but with different types of balls. I had such an amazing time in P.E.

Next, we had Art with Miss P. We were trying to recreate a piece of Art from a guy that designs water bottles etc with Australian animals. Miss P told us that we were doing a Rainbow Lorikeet. We had to cut and paste on a black sheet of paper. After we could add some detail or leave it, I chose to add a little bit of detail with a gold pencil.

We finished with SAP (Student Attributes Program). We started with a game of spider web. First, we had to stand in a circle. The first person says someone that supports them. After that we had to write everyone that supported us.

In conclusion, I had a fabulous time at EMC. We did lots of activities like Science, P.E., Art and SAP. I had a wonderful experience at EMC. I would definitely recommend this school if you were trying to find one.
