God's Love and Care for All

Term 4, Week 11

Dear Parents and Carers,

Once again our Carols Night was a great exhibition of our children's musical talents. Special thanks to Mrs B who brought it all together and Mr Cliff and Mr Danny who set up the stage and sound for the evening. Pity Santa's jokes were not up to my standard and thankfully he only visits Our Lady's once a year !

Congratulations to one of our past students : Krissy Francis Year 6 Class of 2017, was dux of her school with an impressive ATAR score.

Christmas cheer in Craigieburn

Fulton Hogan donates more than 135 toys to local children

Fulton Hogan’s Craigieburn Road Upgrade team has partnered with St Vincent de Paul and Our Lady’s Primary School to help bring some Christmas cheer to local families in need.

The Project team initiated a Christmas Toy Drive in December resulting in more than 135 presents being donated to Our Lady’s Primary School by the Project team and Subcontractors.

Each year the school works with St Vincent de Paul to identify families and children within the Craigieburn community, to create hampers with the donated gifts, and distribute these to families with children aged between 5 and 12.

Our Lady’s Primary School Principal, Paul McEntee was on-hand to receive the gifts this morning and was blown away by the Project’s generosity – saying the donations will make a huge difference to the local families who aren’t able to shower their children with gifts at Christmas time.

Thank you to all Fulton Hogan employees and Subcontractors for your generous donations.

Year 6 Graduation:  A huge shout out to our year six students and staff for their efforts in making our graduation ceremony one to remember. The evening commenced with dinner in the gym for staff and students, followed by the official ceremony in the Church, where all students were acknowledged and awards presented.

As we close out another school year I wish to congrtaulate each and every one of Our Lady's school Community for their support and efforts in making our school a great place for our children to learn and flourish .

I wish you and your family and friends  a joyous and holy Christmas, and a well-deserved break filled with the peaceful light of faith, hope and love.

Take care

Paul
