Learning Support 

At lunchtime on Wednesday, the library doors are opened to students, not for story time or book club but for HAPPINESS HEADQUARTERS. Happiness Headquarters gives our students an opportunity to come into a quiet and calm space and play with friends or students that they might not usually play with in the playground. 

Students are of course welcome to read the books, and there are a variety of activities for students to enjoy.  There are board games and card games, puzzles, and colouring.  A favourite of both junior and senior students at the moment is loom banding.  They are getting very quick at making them and come up with some creative colour combinations.  It is lovely to see students who know how to use the loom bands teaching students new to the activity. 

Happiness Headquarters will continue throughout the year for all students to enjoy.
