Centernary Fete - What a success!
What an unforgettable day for our school community. Despite the wet start to the morning, our Centenary School Fete was an overwhelming success and a true celebration of 100 years of excellence at Aberfeldie Primary School.
It was wonderful to see so many families, past students, staff, alumni, neighbours, and community members come together to support the school and enjoy the festivities. The energy, excitement and sense of pride across the day made it clear just how special our community is. It was a privilege to be part of such a significant milestone event. From the rides and showbags to the entertainment, stalls, food, and the incredible atmosphere across the grounds, the fete was a vibrant reminder of what makes Aberfeldie Primary School unique, our people.
This event simply would not have been possible without the extraordinary efforts of our volunteers. I would like to extend my deepest thanks to everyone who contributed in the lead-up or on the day. In particular, I acknowledge the outstanding work of our parent organising committee; Megan, Robyn, Anna, Sheridyn, Cora and Cleo, whose tireless commitment and creativity drove the entire event and ensured its success.
I would also like to make a special mention of Erin McNamara, who oversaw every element of the fete with remarkable dedication. Erin’s meticulous planning, coordination and unwavering attention to detail ensured our centenary celebration was truly worthy of this once-in-a-lifetime occasion.
Below are some photos capturing the highlights of the day, and you can also explore the full gallery of images here.
Thank you once again to our extraordinary community for making this milestone event one we will remember for many years to come.
