Book Week was in town

Last week was Book Week at Pakenham Springs Primary School. Children's Book Week is organised by the Children's Book Council of Australia (CBCA)

This year, the event's theme was "Book an Adventure".  

We celebrated by starting our week off with a Book Week dress-up parade. 

The students looked amazing in their costumes!  

In J03, we read new books throughout the week, one of them being ‘Stop the Dad Jokes’ by Adrian Beck. We were then lucky enough to have Adrian Beck come and visit us and talk about the books he has written.
