The Build 2025

Jubilee Centre

After careful consideration, we are excited to announce the name of our new library and performing arts centre as The Jubilee Centre. This name honours 50 years of God’s faithful provision and the enduring impact of Christ-centred education. It represents a lasting tribute to His goodness and grace throughout the generations.

Progress Update

The Build 2025 is looking more and more like the artist's impression in the image above. Hopefully you've been following the progress as we've been sharing it across social media and on The Hub.

This video shows the beginning stages of the cladding, but things have progressed dramatically even beyond this:

Just the other day, our SLC had the privilege of giving Premier Jeremy Rockliff and Michael Ferguson MHA a tour of The Jubilee Centre, along with S. Group and Tas City Building.

It was great to share the progress with our leaders, and Year 8 SLC member Zach Lim even asked the Premier a question - you can catch his response HERE.

What's Next?

During the school holidays, works will continue on the external cladding and the internal fit-out, including stairs and decorative lining. Some garden and ground work will also begin. But we're very happy to report that we are running on-time and to schedule.

Thank you for your ongoing support and patience as we navigate the temporary challenges in order to achieve this wonderful addition to our school's built landscape.

In Christ,

Graeme Smith (Head of Finance) and

Isaac Peters (Facilities Manager)

Parking Reminder

Thank you for your patience. We know parking has been hard, and we know there have been ongoing disruptions, but we thank you for your adaptability and flexibility.

A reminder that access via the school's main entrance is no longer available due to fencing. This restriction will remain in place for the duration of 2025.

Parking Access:

  • Staff and long-term visitor parking is available via Riverbank Church Carpark and Windsor Park.
  • The Deliveries and Visitor Carpark behind the Senior Art Studio remains reserved for visitors (max 30 mins) and loading zone only.

Maps detailing these changes have been sent out to the school community.

Stay in the Loop

Throughout the 2025 build, you can keep up with progress via The Hub. We're sharing regular updates there and also on our socials (Facebook and Instagram) – including time lapses of key building stages.
