Dear God,

St. Mary of the Cross MacKillop, you dedicated your life to the education of children and the service of God.

We ask you to intercede for all educators. Bless them with your strength and courage to guide their students with wisdom, patience, and compassion. Help them to be models of faith and to inspire a love of learning in every child.

Amen

🙏 We Celebrated the Feast of St. Mary MacKillop

As a school community, we celebrated the Feast of St. Mary MacKillop on Friday August 8th 2025. As school community, her story offers us a powerful example of faith, resilience, and compassion. St. Mary MacKillop, Australia's first saint, dedicated her life to providing education for all children, especially those in rural and poor areas. She founded the Sisters of St Joseph of the Sacred Heart, known as the "Josephites," who continue her mission to this day.

Thank you to Mrs Grills and our Early Stage 1 students for leading us through this special Mass.

Religious Education - Spotlight on Stage 2

Called to Be Saints 😇

Over the past four weeks, our Stage 2 class has been learning about what it means to be a saint. They have explored how saints are regular people who answered God's call to love and serve others in extraordinary ways.

Our students worked on several key concepts. They can now name some saints and recall how they loved and served others. We talked about people like St. Mary MacKillop, who dedicated her life to educating children.

The class also learned to identify qualities of holiness and describe how the saints demonstrated these qualities. We discussed qualities such as courage, compassion, and humility.

Parish Mass Times

Please join our Parish to celebrate the Eucharist. Our Parish offers daily masses at 9:00am and two Mass times every weekend.
