Please keep our Year 6 students, particularly those preparing to celebrate the Sacrament of Confirmation, in your thoughts and prayers over the coming weeks. Confirmation is a significant milestone in their faith journey, as they deepen their relationship with Christ and are strengthened by the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

This week, our candidates had the privilege of welcoming Rev. Fr Madry (Episcopal Vicar), who spent time with them exploring the meaning and significance of the sacrament and encouraging them as they continue their preparation. His visit provided a wonderful opportunity for students to reflect on the call to live as courageous witnesses to the Gospel in their daily lives.

Over the coming weeks, candidates and their families will also participate in a Family Faith Evening, led by Father Jerome, our Year 5/6 teaching team and Mrs Mensen, as well as a Reflection Day to help prepare them spiritually for this special occasion. 

We look forward to celebrating the Sacrament of Confirmation together as a parish and school community on Wednesday 26 August at 6.00pm in St Mary's Church. May the Holy Spirit continue to guide and inspire our candidates as they prepare to receive this important sacrament.
