Simultaneous Stories and Soccer

On Wednesday 27 May, students from Years K-8 joined together with millions of other people in schools, libraries, hospitals, early childhood services and galleries to share the joy of literature for the National Simultaneous Storytime event.
This year's title - Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller - was read by authors Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd. We gathered, we Zoomed, we cheered as the goals were scored, we helped each other do some Luna inspired activities and we enjoyed lunching together.
Regularly sharing literature has the power to develop empathy and fosters academic achievement in school students - and that's a GOAL worth celebrating.
