A Message from Keir and Emma

Supporting our Grade 6 Students

Last Friday, our Grade Six students hosted a treat stall to raise money for their upcoming disco. Once again, our community came together to show great support for this event. Congratulations to the student committee who organised the treat stall. Thanks to the families who donated delicious treats and all the students who bought from the store. We hope the Grade Sixes have a fabulous time at their disco on Friday night!

Bike and Scooter Safety

We are noticing more and more students riding bikes or scooters to school, which is a positive habit that we love to see! With this, we have also been informed of several instances where students have been riding unsafely in and out of traffic and not paying attention to the pedestrians they are sharing the footpath with. This week, our classroom teachers will be talking to our students about road safety. If your child is riding their bike or scooter to school, we ask you to please also have a conversation with them about how they can be safe.

Foundation 2027 Information Session

This Thursday 15th October, we are looking forward to meeting with the families of our 2027 Foundation cohort. The transition information session will be held in the library at 5:00 pm. If you are planning on attending and require childcare, please use the following link to register: Childcare Registration Form.

Students Leaving in 2026

To assist with the planning of the 2027 classes, we again ask any families who will not be returning to BNWPS next year to inform the school office.
