Hats off to teachers this World Teachers’ Day! Friday, 31 October

Australia celebrates World Teachers Day on October 31, so today the PA organised a morning tea to celebrate the amazing teachers and staff at FWPS who guide, support, and empower our children and young people every single day.

On Friday, 31 October, you can show your appreciation by making a card, posting a “hats off” selfie on social media (either on your own or with family or friends), tell teachers what they mean to you or simply SAY THANK YOU!

Uniform Shop News

We are bursting at the seams… No more donations please (except dresses)

Donations of unbranded green jumpers, bottoms and yellow polos are on hold during term 4 while Rebecca sorts through the abundance of stock donated recently. The office has been asked to stop accepting donations for now. Drop us an email of you can help with sorting though…
We are still accepting donations of dresses only - as these are in low supply. Reminder: please ensure donations are clean and in good condition for resale.
We are currently preparing to donate excess yellow polos and green shorts to community organisations in Timor through Jo Williams (Lily 1JI) work connections in the Pacific Islands Division of ANZ. Thank you for your support Jo!
Unbranded excess or damaged stock will then be recycled commercially so we can make some space in the PA container for 2026.

Prep play dates - can you help?

We would like to open the uniform shop at the Prep Play Dates again this year, Wednesday 3rd and Thursday 4th of December from 3:30pm-4:30pm.

First meeting of the new PA

New co-presidents Stu and Tanya led the on-line PA meeting on Monday, October 27, thank you to the community members who were able to attend. Minutes of the AGM were confirmed, these are displayed in the breezeway at the Argyle St entrance. As a new Office Bearer group, we talked about planning for Term 4 and the coming year.

The final PA meeting for 2025 will be held on Monday, 1 December with a focus on selecting the activities for next year. More details will be provided shortly, we hope to see many of our community there.
