Reports and Learning Conversations

Semester 1 Reports will be released on Compass on Wednesday, 24 June. Families are encouraged to read through the report with their child and talk about the progress they have made so far this year. Due to industrial action undertaken earlier this term, families will notice that written comments are not included in this reporting cycle - we continue to report achievement against the Victorian Curriculum, and the student performance using our Demonstrated Skills.

Our Learning Conversations will then take place on Thursday, 25 June. These conversations are a chance to follow up on the report, hear from students about their learning, and discuss next steps with classroom teachers. Bookings are now open on Compass.

A reminder that students attend school only for their booked Learning Conversation on this day.

Early Finish and Assembly

A reminder that school will finish at 2:30pm next week. Families are asked to please make arrangements for student collection at this earlier time.

We will also be holding our assembly in the morning at 9:15am. Families are, as always, welcome to attend.

Welcome Back

We are delighted to welcome back Ms McMillin from her period of family leave. Ms McMillin will be supporting us in our work in the teaching and learning area. Please look out for her and say hello.

Maple Street & High Street Crossing Proposal

Golden Square Primary School Council is asking families about safety near High Street & Maple Street in Golden Square and the proposed signalised crossing.

You can access a short 3 question survey by clicking here.

Your feedback will be shared with the Golden Square Action Group to help inform decisions about a proposed safe signalised cyclist and pedestrian crossing to improve safety for children, families and the community.

Below is an image showing the proposed crossing. If you would like more information about the proposed crossing, please visit Golden Square Action

Group's Facebook Page

This survey will take less than 2 minutes to complete.
