Congratulations to the Eglinton Magpies Debate Team on their outstanding Round 2 victory against Blayney Public School!

Arguing the affirmative side of the topic, "That kids under 12 should never be allowed to use smartphones," the team demonstrated confidence, and excellent public speaking skills. Their thorough preparation, teamwork, and persuasive arguments impressed the adjudicators, and their hard work was rewarded with a well-deserved win.

A huge congratulations to all team members for representing Eglinton with such enthusiasm. We are incredibly proud of your achievement and wish you the very best in your upcoming debates and competitions.

Congratulations to Hugh Dutton on his selection to represent Western at the 2026 NSW Primary All Schools Boys Netball 12 Years Championships on 27–28 July at Netball Central in Sydney.

This is a wonderful achievement and we wish Hugh the very best and look forward to hearing about his experiences at the championships.

We are delighted to share some exciting news!

After months of hard work, dedication and outstanding choreography by Miss Bellamy, our dance group of 12 students has successfully auditioned for and been accepted into the 2026 Schools Spectacular.

The Schools Spectacular is one of the most prestigious performing arts events in New South Wales. As an audition-only production, acceptance is highly competitive and reflects the talent, commitment and high standard demonstrated by our students.

The students will participate in a wonderful and unique experience that provides the opportunity to perform on a professional stage, work alongside other talented students from across NSW, and create lasting memories that will last a lifetime.

We are incredibly proud of their achievement and look forward to supporting them as they embark on this exciting journey. Congratulations to all involved on this outstanding accomplishment!
