Mr Hyatt
Presentation Night!
Last evening, the St Patrick’s School community came together for a truly memorable Presentation Night, celebrating the achievements, growth, and spirit of our students throughout the year. The event was a wonderful showcase of talent, dedication, and the strong sense of community that defines St Patrick’s.
The evening began with a warm welcome from our Year 6 leaders and a prayer of thanksgiving, setting the tone for a night filled with pride and joy. The audience was treated to performances by the school band as well as the K-2 students, whose talent and hard work were evident in their renditions.
Awards were presented to students across various categories, recognising their accomplishments in academics, sports, the arts, and leadership. Special acknowledgments were given to those who have demonstrated exceptional growth and contribution to the school community. Each recipient was met with enthusiastic applause, a testament to the encouragement and support that flows through our school.
Highlights of the night included reflections on the past year’s achievements and a look ahead to 2025, inspiring all in attendance to continue striving for excellence. Families, staff, and students alike shared moments of pride and gratitude, celebrating the collective effort that makes St Patrick’s such a special place.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the success of the evening—our hardworking staff, talented students, and supportive families. Together, we created a night that truly captured the spirit of St Patrick’s.

Mass to Celebrate the Soft Reopening of the Cathedral
Earlier today, our school leaders, Angus and Lilah, along with myself, had the privilege of traveling to Armidale to attend a special Mass celebrating the reopening of the St Mary's and St Joseph's Cathedral. This historic event marked the end of a significant restoration and revitalisation project, and we were honoured to be part of this joyful occasion.

Congratulations to the School Leaders for 2025
As I mentioned last evening, it is always difficult for me to announce the official leaders for the 2025 academic year, as I believe all of our future Year 6 students are leaders in their own right and are expected to serve as positive role models for our school community. Leadership positions carry special responsibilities, such as representing the school at important events like Diocesan Masses, Remembrance Day, and ANZAC Day.

After enjoying the movie, everyone will share lunch together before returning to school just before home time. This fun-filled day is a great way to wrap up the year and celebrate all the hard work and achievements of our students and staff.
School Fees 2025
Armidale Catholic Schools receives funding from both Commonwealth and State Governments which is necessary to operate our schools. School fees supplement the income received from the Commonwealth and Statement Government and are essential to help meet the gap between government funding and the cost of providing quality educational experiences and outcomes for students.
School Fees and excursion levies are billed on an annual basis at the commencement of the School Year and our standard payment terms are 10 monthly installments from February to November.
Parents will be issued an annual Tax Invoice/Statement in Term one with monthly statements issued thereafter.
St Patrick's has facilities to pay fees by BPAY, EFTPOS or Credit Card and Cash. Our preferred payment method is BPAY.
School Fees will be $1570 with a 10% discount for siblings
Staffing for 2025
I am still finalising all of the staffing arrangements for next year, but I can officially announce the leaders of all classes.
